Sphere Edged Weapons Awareness and Defence Course

Situational awareness is crucial for safety. Being aware of your surroundings may not prevent an attack, but it significantly increases the chances of anticipating one. Sphere's defensive training covers all necessary aspects for survival, including unarmed combat, edged weapons, and blunt impact weapons.

Our Edged Weapons Programmes and Courses are designed to equip individuals for the rising number of knife and edged weapon attacks in today's world. Participants will receive training in skills, strategies, and tactics for situational pre-emption and response. The courses also address the widespread issue of knife crime and the awareness of modified weapons, among other topics.

Sphere's programmes and courses combine theoretical knowledge with practical tactics and strategies, making use of our unique A.I.R system. These tactics and skills are intuitive and easy to integrate, capitalizing on natural instincts.

Escape and Evasion Weekend

Challenge yourself and your team to evade capture from an elite task force in a forested terrain. If caught, can you break free? Teamwork and survival skills taught by our field experts are crucial for success.

On **Day 1**, learn essential survival techniques to outwit the task force. This includes a safety briefing, shelter construction, foraging, fire-making without conventional tools, and leveraging the environment to avoid capture. The evening will be spent at camp, where the sphere team will share anecdotes from their advanced training experiences.

**Day 2** involves a practical test of evasion. Teams will be deployed to a location to dodge the relentless elite task force. Captured members must recall their cover stories during interrogation before attempting another escape to reach the Rendezvous Point (RVP) with their team. The night will be spent in the wild, applying the survival skills learned to establish camp.

Two-Day Survival Course

Our two-day survival course caters to all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a seasoned survival enthusiast, a beginner, or joining in at the behest of your children, you're guaranteed to learn something new and have a great time! This hands-on course offers you the opportunity to practice making a fire without matches, constructing shelters, trapping or snaring food, knife safety, sourcing and purifying water, navigating by the sun and stars, and identifying edible wild foods, plants and insects (consumption is optional).

You'll be instructed by a top-tier expert who has applied these survival techniques in actual scenarios. While our two-day survival courses are immensely popular, we still have a few spots available. Once registered, you'll receive a list of essential items to bring, but since you'll be immersing yourself in a true survival experience, you won't need many personal belongings.
